when i first heard that one of my favorite japanese artist, the great takashi murakami, is having an exhibition at the palace of versailles, i got so excited i thought i would explode! takashi's modern pop art creations standing aside to the timeless creations of the past is a must see show!
takashi was born in tokyo in 1963 and studied at the tokyo university of fine arts and music. his works combines fine art with modern culture, japanese and western, old and new, high and low and were exhibited in prestigious museums all over the world.
the show will run in the next three months, so if you're in france, you just have to check it out.
